My second reason that I believe Clara Barton was the most influential person in America is because she worked towards women’s suffrage. She led many movements towards it, and worked to get the right to vote. She was also a strong influence and inspiration to all women of the time, especially when she led high government positions and encouraged women that they could do it, too. She never let being a women stop her from whatever she wanted to do. Clara went where no other had before, and went boldly. For these reasons I sincerely believe that she was the greatest person in American history.
